Story of the Month
Alesha’s journey isn’t without its struggles. Starting as an actress, she navigates a difficult industry where opportunities are limited, especially for Black women.
She finds herself battling stereotypes, exploitation, and the pressure to compromise her values. These challenges are compounded by an abusive relationship and a devastating car accident, which becomes a turning point in her life. Taking a step back from acting, she rediscovers her passion for art through design, finding solace, healing, and clarity in creation.
