Hannana's story began with a persistent battle against a weak immune system. Seeking a holistic solution, she enrolled in an 8-week herbal medicine course that would change her life. It was here that she learned about the immense health benefits of microgreens. Intrigued and inspired, Hannana started growing her own microgreens, experimenting with various types of seeds. Today, she cultivates 18 different varieties in her North London studio.

Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, Hannana soon realized that her true passion lay not in numbers but in nurturing plants. The pandemic provided a unique opportunity for her to pivot and focus entirely on developing her microgreens brand. With the support of family and friends, she officially launched Hannana’s Microgreens, trading at local markets such as Tottenham Green Market, Enfield Good Food, and Be the Future Vegan Market at Archway.

Hannana's dedication to sustainability doesn't end with her products. After earning a Master's Degree in Agriculture for Sustainable Development, she is committed to sharing her knowledge and promoting eco-friendly practices. Hannana’s Microgreens is built on the principles of sustainability, offering fresh, pesticide-free, GMO-free, and biodegradable products. Embracing a circular economy, Hannana ensures minimal waste by delivering products to restaurants in reusable food storage containers.
